al monte de corralitos

santa cruz sandalwood flowers
riding wild greens and fuses
where swans swim in lush seas

is ready to let go of
ten years maturing through
shaken winds off the grid

off the grid into something else
wings shaken stiff and strong
borne by the math of dreams

yes, I like her lines
her breath in the syllables
the cold cool and scented digger pines

yes, I like it - flying carpets
arts in a candle-lit abbey
adobe abiding in the flesh

sandalwood nerves embodying
the present maybe
the present maybe can be
another maybe, skipping - having it be.

Numbers 10:35

And it came to pass,
when the ark set forward,
that Moses said, Rise up, LORD,
and let thine enemies be scattered;
and let them that hate thee
flee before thee.
